The Story of Troubles Bar ’n Grill

 

Neil and Stacey both grew up in the heart of Minnesota, where small-town values and big dreams shaped their journey. With a shared love for good food, great company, and a welcoming atmosphere, they decided to bring those passions together and start their own business — Troubles Bar ’n Grill.

In April of 2011, they opened the very first Troubles location in the small town of Howard Lake, MN. What started as a local hangout quickly became a community favorite, known for its friendly service, hearty meals, and laid-back vibe. The success of that first restaurant inspired Neil and Stacey to expand, leading to the opening of their second location in Darwin, MN of 2020.

 

After years of building their dream in Minnesota, Neil and Stacey decided it was time for a new adventure. Leaving their hometown roots behind, they set their sights west — bringing Troubles Bar ’n Grill to Dubois, Wyoming. With the same commitment to good food, great people, and a touch of hometown charm, they’re excited to share a little piece of Minnesota hospitality with their new community.
